Self Pay Rates

Physical Therapy Evaluation: $80

During this evaluation, the physical therapist will take a thorough medical history followed by an analysis of your muscle strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and mobility. You will be asked to perform a variety of movements and assume different positions throughout this evaluation. Subsequent treatment following the evaluation is at the discretion of the physical therapist.

Therapeutic Exercise Instruction with Home program: $50 – ½ hour/ $80 – 1 hour.

During this exercise session the physical therapist uses movement to correct an impairment, improve musculoskeletal function, or maintain a state of well-being. It may vary from highly selected activities restricted to specific muscles or parts of the body, to general and vigorous activities that can return a convalescing patient to the peak of physical condition. Sessions can vary from 30 min. to 1 hour. At the end of each session, a home exercise program will be given to you.

Iontophoresis/Interferential Electrical Stimulation:$35

Iontophoresis: A transdermal delivery system in which a substance bearing a charge is propelled through the skin by a low electrical current. In physical therapy, we typically use dexamethasone sodium phosphate for inflammatory conditions. The medication has to be prescribed by your referring physician.

Personal Training: $60 – 1 hour $30 – ½ hour

Interferential Electrical Stimulation/US anti-inflammatory treatment: $30

Interferential stimulation has been investigated as a technique to reduce pain, improve range of motion, or promote local healing following various tissue injuries. IFS permeates the tissues more effectively and, with less unwanted stimulation of cutaneous nerves, is more comfortable than transcutaneous electrical stimulation (TENS)

Ultrasound therapy uses high-energy sound waves (those above the range we hear) to help ease painful joints and muscles. Ultrasound treatment is done by a physical therapist who guides the waves into the body from the head of an ultrasound machine.
