At Renewal Rehab & Fitness, we currently offer group weight-loss classes throughout the week which are:
Zumba: A fitness program inspired by Latin dance. Zumba combines Latin rhythms with cardiovascular exercise to create an aerobic routine that is fun and easy to follow. Zumba uses a variety of styles in its routine, including cumbia, merengue, salsa, reggaeton, mambo, rumba, belly dancing, flamenco and calypso. Music selections include both fast and slow rhythms to help tone and sculpt body. The average amount of calories burned per class are 300-500 calories (60 min.)
Functional Circuit Training (coming in February): An intense circuit training class based on functional training principles. This is a fun, upbeat class which trains the total body in a short amount of time, along with giving you a great cardiovascular workout. This class focuses on muscular endurance of the extremities, along with core training and interval aerobic training. The average amount of calories burned per class are 300-500 calories (30 min).
